A Tri Colored Smooth Coated Collie Lays on the Ground Looking at the Camera

“I am very pleased with the results from my dog’s board and training with Providing Pawsable! He stayed with them for a month and learned so much. His focus, heel and repetitive behavior interruption task were all notably better when he came home. If I ever chose to do a board and training again I’d be very interested in sending him back! I’ve also loved my virtual training sessions. They’re helpful and teach me a lot.”

A Young Tri-Colored Dog Lays on the rug Looking up at the Camera

“Just wow!! We HIGHLY recommend Rebekah at Providing Pawsable. In September my husband and I rescued a 8 week old shepherd mix puppy. We fell madly in love with our Maggie, but soon realized how very active she was going to be. I knew we needed to start some training sooner rather than later. We had a chance meeting with Rebekah at a pet store. She was handling a large dog in a calm professional manner. I complimented her on her well trained dog. That’s when I discovered she was a trainer and the dog she had was spending time with her due to his aggressive behavior. He definitely had made great progress under Rebekah's care. There was NO sign of aggression toward my puppy!! Our Maggie is now 6 months old and Rebekah has guided us and answered any questions we have had. She is Maggie's best friend and works miracles with her! Most importantly Rebekah instructs us with positivity and confidence in handling our furry new family member. Thanks to Rebekah our relationship with Maggie is a pleasant one. I know without doubt we will continue to reach out to Rebekah as Maggie matures. I truly wish I could put Rebekah in my pocket !!”

“Providing Pawsable has been incredibly helpful for both me and my girl, Piper. I contacted Rebekah when I noticed Piper and I having a few issues with our owner training. She had been recommended to me by a friend. Since I am in Wyoming and Providing Pawsable is in Ohio, we did Skype sessions. Not only is Rebekah helpful during sessions, but she is supportive and helpful outside of sessions as well. Rebekah isn’t the type of person to give up on you or your dog and is willing to work through any issue you may be having. I would highly recommend Providing Pawsable for any of your training needs!”

“I’ve only had 1 training session with Rebekah, the head trainer, but just from that one session I could tell she’s an excellent trainer!! She is very knowledgeable about service dogs and the different ways to train them to task for their handlers. She is super easy to talk to and never makes you feel like any questions are dumb. I really like Providing Pawsable because it is one of the few training programs that assist owner trainers which makes having a service dog a lot more affordable. I would recommend Providing Pawsable to anybody looking into service dog training!!”

“I’ve never trained a puppy before. Ever. Especially not a service dog.
But Providing Pawsable has given me so much confidence going forward. I ordered the Basics guide and we’ve already met twice over skype. The Basics Guide was all I expected it to be and so much more!
With maintenance tips, a learning schedule, checklists of experiences, and goals to reach, it’s amazing to see how well organized it all is. It makes my life miles easier than it would’ve been going into this blind. Definitely recommend it.
Rebekah has been so kind and so helpful throughout this process. She’s precise, direct, and has such good experience with these dogs. I get the most out of every single meeting.
I wish I could see them in person, of course, but Providing Pawsable makes even digital training help so beyond worth it. I looked at many different trainers before settling on who I thought would be best for Fedya and I, and I have absolute no regrets.
I can’t wait to keep working with Rebekah and watch Fedya grow into the amazing service dog I know she can be. “

“Rebekah knows so much training has become instinctive. Everything she does with your dog is intentional and trains beyond standard to exceptional. And that is not even mentioning the support she can give to her human clients! I am so grateful that my next pup will go straight from breeder to her until we are both ready to be paired & that’s a lot of trust! But she’s more than earned it & I am grateful for this program.”

A Black Lab with a Red Collar Begins to Jump Tongue Out Looking Past the Camera

“Let me just start off by saying, you know your dog is in great hands when he doesn’t want to leave not only the trainer he was with but also the other people in the house hold because he loved them so much. Flynn is a 1 year old SDiT, now he is owner trained and I’m very proud of what I’ve done with him, but there are some areas that lately he has struggled. House manners such as jumping when excited and never settling (unless in a place) and barking when someone rings the door bell or enters our house. Flynn is also an excessive whiner and it was driving me insane. Lastly, the reason I decided to send Flynn was actually because I started a new job, but it was in a pet store and I noticed him being stressed and actually became a little more reactive to dogs while whining and being excited to see them every day. Upon getting Flynn back from Rebekah I’ve noticed immediate improvement. He barely whines so far and even learned crowed control; oh and we’ve noticed that he has a natural alert to dizzy spells or Heart rate. Rebekah was great about updating me and sending videos and reassuring me that he was doing good! Upon coming home the first thing I immediately noticed was that he came inside and laid down for a bit. He has never once done this, even with playing for hours he normally comes inside and still doesn’t want to settle down. He also stayed in 2 different hotels on the way home and when people knocked on the door he didn’t even flinch. He’s only been home for a few days and I couldn’t be more happy with the improvements that have been made. We will definitely be returning in the future to work on light mobility!”

I come to our sessions with a long list of questions and problems and she ALWAYS answers all of them and more! In addition to Rebekah’s professionalism, she is also genuinely caring. She and her husband have service dogs as well so she has first-hand experiences of what it’s like to have a disability and a service dog!”

Young Woman in Red Dress with White Dots Stands with Tan and White Dog Between Her Legs Looking Up at Her

“Rebekah from Providing Pawsable has been amazing with helping me train my Service Dog in Training! We started working with her a few months ago when my dog would bark at dogs, try to chase birds and lizards, would only task for treats, had bad focus, and only knew a couple tasks that were not solid at all. Now Azul is great at 3 tasks anywhere with or without treats, has progressed on many other tasks, has better focus and doesn't try to chase things while working, rarely barks (and is getting closer to no barking at all!) and is learning so fast. Her public access skills and tasks have improved so much with the help of Providing Pawsable in just a few months and I'm confident that with Rebekah's help, Azul will be an amazing service dog. She is also very encouraging and is always a message away if I need anything. One thing that keeps a lot of people from getting help in training is the cost, but the prices for Providing Pawsable are very fair and affordable, and I'm saying this as a college student! I definitely recommend Providing Pawsable to anyone looking for help with prospect finding, schedule building, and training!”

“Providing Pawsable’s prospect finding service is truly a blessing to any owner trainer looking for a prospect. In my search for a trainer to help with owner training my first service dog, I came across Providing Pawsable. When I contacted the head trainer Rebekah, she got back to me super quickly. We set up a video call where she explained how her services work, and service dog things in general. We talked about the pros and cons of different breeds, possible tasks that might benefit my disability, what she looks for in a breeder, and the realistic timeline. After our call Rebekah sent me multiple resources to help me make the decision of breed, and once I had made my decision, she immediately started looking for breeders. Throughout her search she updated me constantly. Rebekah made sure that I knew that at any time I could reach out with questions, which I definitely did. Once she had her list of top breeder options she let me make the decision of what we thought was the best choice. I reached out to the breeder and found that Rebekah had already spoken to them and they knew all about what I was looking for, making my call much easier. My spot is now reserved on a litter for this summer! I’m so happy with the breeder we were able to find, and I’m sure that I never would have found anyone as good as them without Rebekah’s help. I look forward to raising and training my future service dog under her guidance!”

Young yellow mix breed puppy sits on the couch

“My husband and I called Providing Pawsable to help acclimate our puppy to strangers. We rescued her young and she's always been scared of people - never aggressive, but she would leave our backyard and run inside at the sight of someone walking down the street. We knew early intervention was our best course of action, and after one session with Rebekah we knew she was a great fit for our girl. We asked to sign up for a full package before she even left our house. It's been amazing to see the progress Lacey has made in just five visits. Rebekah always pointed out the littlest details in body language, eye contact, etc. that we overlooked, and would frequently text us for updates the weeks we didn't have an appointment. We have another dog who is very friendly and extroverted, and the best advice we received was that it would be great if Lacey grew to be the same way - but our main goal was to have her peacefully coexist before anything else. A reasonable goal is an attainable goal, and we are so happy to see our girl less stressed and scared. Rebekah and Michael have thoroughly proven themselves and we are looking to ask them to come back in the future as we continue to increase Lacey's confidence in other situations. Thank you both again so much!”

**UPDATE** I officially found my boy today! Rebekah has already helped me find so much joy, and I haven’t even brought my boy home yet! “Rebekah is an amazing service dog trainer/handler. I would 100% recommend her to literally everyone. She is the easiest person to talk to and to get along with and she really knows how to explain things in a way that you truly understand. She will always give out tips and tricks if you are struggling with something and you reach out to her and she always gets back in a timely manner. It doesn’t feel like just talking with a trainer, it feels like talking with a friend who truly wants the best for you and your dog. “I cannot say enough great things about Providing Pawsable and the head trainer Rebekah! She is so kind and knowledgeable. Every time I have contacted her I have been in some sort of panic and she’s always been so gentle and patient with me. The company has no training method they force you to use, they work with what you’re comfortable with, which was incredibly hard for me to find as someone who only uses force free methods. The prices are the most affordable I’ve seen when it comes to service dog training. Whether you need help with basics, tasks, or specific issues, I would HIGHLY recommend Providing Pawsable! Update: shortly after leaving this review I contacted the company for help. And once again, I’ve been met with nothing but kindness and knowledge. I will forever be telling other service dog handlers about Providing Pawsable. They are truly an amazing company, doing amazing things.”

“Rebekah was extremely patient with me despite not even knowing if I would end up needing a new prospect. She dealt with my laundry list of special needs when looking for a puppy and was very knowledgeable, honest, and yet fair when it came to specifications I was looking for. She didn’t let personal biases get in the way even when I made choices that she wouldn’t have necessarily suggested herself. Above that, she even tried to guide me despite this and offered a lot of helpful information and tips. And all while on a tight time limit! Ultimately, we found a puppy under my budget and Rebekah will be temperament testing the pups in a few months. I would definitely recommend her services for anyone looking for a service dog prospect or even a well-rounded, well-bred family pet.”

Black poodle puppy lays on ground in purple vest

“Providing Pawsable has completely changed my life. I had been struggling through my debilitating PTSD as well as other disabilities, and all I knew was that I had to do something. I started doing research on unconventional treatments and continued trying to just survive. And then I found out about service dogs. It immediately clicked and I knew that best case scenario I could get my quality of life back, worst case I would get to train a puppy. I have always been obsessed with dogs so the thought of merging my love of dogs with the benefits that it’s work could bring me was just meant to be.

But where do you start? There are so many questions to answer which always lead to more. Do I adopt or do I shop? What breed can meet all of my current and potential future needs? I was immediately overwhelmed. I was stuck in the researching phase and just couldn’t take the next steps. I deal with a lot of self-doubt and fear of mistakes, with this being such a life changing decision, I was frozen. That’s where Providing Pawsable came in and changed the game.

Rebekah made everything immediately okay. She was already extremely knowledgeable about all things Service Dogs. This relieved a huge weight off of my chest. I knew that I could go to her with anything and we could work it out together. She helped me figure out what breed would fit my needs the best, answered every question I could think of, and most of all somehow made me feel at ease. She always had my back.

The experience that Rebekah has is invaluable. She already had a list of breeds, breeders, and all the finer points that I wanted in a prospect. I cannot say this enough, Rebekah was a life saver. We went through the type of health testing they did, lines of pedigree, as well as past successful service dogs. She made all the calls and vetted all of the breeders we were looking at. This was absolutely essential as I was in the process of finishing my bachelors degree, but still wanted to be extremely thorough. Providing Pawsable was the answer!!

It was an extremely smooth process and when I was nervous, Rebekah knew exactly what to say. She advocated for me not only to the breeders, but also to me! There were so many times I was unsure and stuck, but Rebekah always made me feel better. I will never forget when we had everything lined up and perfect, but the biggest male puppy was cream colored. I knew that I wanted a darker dog, but I just wanted to finally get my prospect and start training. Rebekah called me on the phone and told me “don’t settle. There will be more litters and you deserve the perfect prospect.” I am forever grateful for this as I did truly end up with the perfect puppy in every way.

I can never truly explain to you the impact that Rebekah and Providing Pawsable have had on my entire service dog journey. She was there during all the rough spots, and gave me all the confidence I needed. Rebekah and Providing Pawsable will always be a part of Jax and I’s journey. I can never truly repay her for what she has done for us.”
