“This is my official review of Providing Pawsable and their board and train services. To get a complete understanding of how much they helped I need to start with why koda went for a board and train in the first place. Koda is an amazing dog and super smart, he can do his job as a service dog but lately due to quarantining he has decided to only do it half assed. He also became weary of strange dogs again. But on top of that he became obsessed with his ball. Like a super unhealthy obsession, one where given the right situation he could end up hurt because he was ignoring my recalls away from it. I knew he needed a boot camp and I knew I couldn’t give him that due to having Elliot hit that age where he needs a lot more entertainment. So, I basically reached out to providing pawsable in a plea to take my dog while I figured out what the heck was going on in my life. Even though they had just moved facilities and houses she agreed To take him before her board and trains actually were scheduled to start because I was desperate.

.
.
.
What Rebekah did besides train my dog when he was at her house? She kept up with his grooming which is super important due to it being shedding season. She dealt with his annoying quirks of not wanting food. She played fetch with him and gave him to exercise he desperately needs every day. She kept a log of what they did every single day so she could give me that when I picked him up. She created a sheet for me to take home showing what he struggled with and what he started showing improvement on while also adding instructions on how to continue his training. She did all of this while still messaging me almost everyday letting me know he was okay and sending me videos and pictures of his improvements and struggles. She was very open about her methods and the logic behind them.
.
.
.
How has my dog improved? Well thanks to sucky weather and quarantining she couldn’t get him out and about around any strange dogs besides the dogs at her house which he quickly got used to. So she worked him around the barking neighbors dogs and he showed no interest but I suspect he will need some work in this area still which she has provided me instruction and ideas on how to accomplish that. His ball drive? He still loves to play ball and thinks it’s the best thing on the planet, but he now listens to recall off the ball 75% of the time which is pretty amazing to accomplish is two weeks. His engagement is getting so much better and feeling a lot more natural for him when training and working. I wanted Rebekah to work on rear end awareness with koda since Iv never worked him on it. She did but didn’t get too far past the basics of paws up on an object because koda was really struggling with that for them. But again, I’ve gotten instructions on how to move forward after he gets the basics down. Two weeks is not a lot of time to work on the issues I sent koda in with. I honestly didn’t expect a lot of progress besides me getting a break for two weeks but I ended up being so wrong. Koda is doing great and I’m feeling a lot better about his training and where we are headed.
.
.
.
Was she the one who trained and dealt with him every day while there? No. Her husband aka kennel helper worked with koda on the days Rebekah was sick due to her disabilities. How do I feel about this? 100% okay with it because her husband is a great guy and loved koda a ton, he put in 110% effort and helped Rebekah throughout the whole two weeks. If you want someone to be there 24/7 with your dog and not have anyone else work them period... don’t go to a trainer with interns or disabilities.
.
.
.
So, do I recommend them? Hell yes, because she took my dog in a crazy time in her life and still did her best to get his past his issues. She works with your schedule and your dogs individual needs. She understands board and trains can be scary and helps the owners and dogs feel comfortable before any work begins on her part. She is reasonably priced. She is brutally honest not only about your dogs behavior but also about the methods they use and the science behind it. She wants nothing but the best for her dogs and yours. I’ve used Rebekah’s training services before I sent koda for a board and train so I knew I could trust her and she didn’t disappoint!”

“Soon after getting my prospect I realized that service dog training was not going to be an easy task. Tesla is a great puppy, but I quickly become lost and confused when it came to what skills we should be focusing on and how to successfully teach them. Then comes Rebekah from Providing Pawsable to the rescue! Even though we are located too far away to be able to train with her in person, we were able to get the help we needed to get back on track. She was able to consult with us, learn about our schedule, and come up with a unique training plan to ensure we stay on the path to success. Her additional services not only helped us with a training schedule, but she was also able to provide a list of basic skills and commands for us to work on each week. We were even able to get a comprehensive breakdown of how to work on scent training for medical alerts- which ended up being a tremendous help. I’m so glad I found Providing Pawsable. Rebekah has been nothing but patient and helpful as we navigate owner training, and all the effort that she has put in to our unique schedule and training plan has made absolutely all the difference. Tes and I have been able to make so much progress as a team, and we look forward to continuing to train and having the ability to consult with the professionals at Providing Pawsable!”

“I love Providing Pawsable! I'm a behavior specialist and a very experienced dog owner who rehabilitates reactive and aggressive dogs, but when the time came for me to find and train my own service dog, I was pretty lost. Rebekah has helped me out the entire way. She even did the research and found the right dog for me! She also met me at the breeder's house when I picked up my Great Dane puppy and service dog in training, Liesl. She has been so helpful answering my texts very promptly and being there for the moral support of just trying to raise a puppy. Rebekah is very experienced with animal behavior and training, so I know I'm getting expert support, training, and advice. I can't recommend Providing Pawsable enough!”

“The first thing I think of when I think of Bekah is passion. I have never met someone so passionate about service dog training and just dogs in general. Her passion to train service dogs has made me passionate in my own dog’s training. Her knowledge about training and the brain of a dog is truly mind bobbling. She has helped me realize that having a disability does not mean you are weak it just means you have to find other ways to push through, and for me that has been having my dog Rex. Her program has changed my dog and continues to with every session. This experience has been awesome, and I am so thankful I have been a part of it.”

“Providing Pawsable's training program has accelerated my service dog’s training by leaps and bounds. I can see the progress increase with every session exponentially and the credit goes to Head Trainer Rebekah Finn. She brings so much passion and knowledge to every training session that it's contagious. I find myself becoming a better trainer just being around her. Her techniques are pawsitive and productive and it shows in the results you see in your dog's behavior. To top it off there is not an easier person to work with. Not only is she completely willing to cater to your needs, but she also helps you figure out what your needs are, what is best for your team, and how to reach those goals. No other training program will be able to match the passion, care, and service that you will find a Providing Pawsable.”
